What you'll need

Suitable Clothing: Dress in comfortable attire suitable for water activities. Quick-drying clothing is recommended, along with swimwear if desired. Don't forget to bring along a change of clothes for after the excursion.

Water Shoes: If you have them, water shoes are ideal for providing traction and protection while navigating in and out of the kayak. However, if you don't have water shoes, any sturdy footwear that can get wet will suffice.

Sun Protection: Cape Town's sun can be intense, so come prepared with adequate sun protection gear. This includes a wide-brimmed hat to shield your face and neck, sunscreen with a high SPF rating to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, and sunglasses to reduce glare from the water's surface.

Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key, especially when out on the water. Bring along a refillable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated throughout the excursion.
